Sundays

BuildingWe have two services on a Sunday - 10am and 5pm.  It would be great to see you at either or both!

Both services are at our church building at 79 Cecil Road, Enfield, EN2 6TJ.  Parking at the church is  reserved for those with mobility difficulties so if you are able to walk, please use one of the local car parks (which are free for 3 hours on a Sunday).

The 10am

What should I expect?

When you arrive you will be greeted by one of our welcome team.  They will give you a Welcome Sheet and a Bible and will be happy to answer any questions you might have about our gatherings.

congregationDuring our time together we spend time singing, praying, reading from God's word and listening to it being taught. Our usual practice is to work our way through a book of the Bible (or part of one) over a term, taking a section each week.  You can find out more about our current sermon series and listen to/download recent sermons.

Our services usually last about  and hour and a quarter. After the formal part of our meeting finishes tea and coffee is served .  Please do stay if you can - we would love to get to know you.  You can find out more information about the church or ask any questions you have at the Welcome Desk.

We have Communion during the service on the third Sunday of each month. If you know and love the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour we invite you to participate with us on these occasions.  If you can't yet say that, you are very welcome to stay with us during this time.

What about children?

Treasure HuntersDuring our 10am service there are "Treasure Hunters" groups for pre-school and primary-school-aged children . (Children join us for the start of the service and then leave for their groups when  directed to do so.  There will be plenty of people around to show you where to go).   The kids will have great fun playing games and learning about Jesus in a way tailored to their age and understanding.

Once a month (usually on the second Sunday) we have an All-Age service.  School-aged children stay in for the whole of our gathering (pre-school children leave for their groups as normal).

Do come and join us!  If you'd like more information before you do, please Contact Us

The 5pm
the5pm WEBSITE

On Sunday 8th March we are launching our 5pm Service (in place of the current 6:30pm gathering). We really hope that this will enable more people - young and old - to join us as we hear the good news of Jesus.

What will it look like?

All are invited to join us at 5pm for refreshments. There will be coffee, cake and a chance to meet with others from the church. Please don’t see this as an optional extra. This is part of being a community and a great chance to meet and greet new people.

At 5:15pm, we will be encouraged to go into the main hall for the formal part of our gathering. We will sing, pray and hear a talk from the Bible.

From part way through the gathering, there will be a creche for pre-school children. There will also be a (optional) Treasure Hunters Group for Reception to year 2 children. The kids will have great fun playing games and learning about Jesus in a way tailored to their age and understanding.  However, if you'd prefer, your children are welcome to stay in the main gathering.  There will be an activity sheet to help them follow the bible talk. The service will finish at 6:30pm.

Like the mornings, there will be an All-Age service once a month, when all school age children will stay in with us. There will also be a Communion service once a month, when together, we will remember the death and resurrection of Jesus using bread and wine.

Who is it for?

The simple answer is anyone! We aim to make the gathering suitable for those who are new to Jesus and new to church. We also hope it will be a place where all of us can grow to know Jesus better however long we’ve been attending church.
