ETCC, the coronavirus and the way ahead
(last updated 5th January 2021)
Sunday Services at ETCC
Unfortunately, due to the rate of the spread of the Coronavirus in and around Enfield, we have made the decision to suspend both our 10AM and 5PM in-person services.
Our services were always held in a COVID-secure manner, and this decision has been made in line with Government advice and for the safety of all those who would attend.
However, we will continue to livestream our services onto YouTube every Sunday morning and evening, at 10am and 5pm.
You can watch all the services online, on YouTube, at the usual 10AM and 5PM times. Click here for our YouTube channel.
As always, these services will be published as videos onto YouTube for you to watch again, or catch-up on in your own time.
Tuesday Evenings at ETCC (Prayer Meeting & Grow Groups)
For the time-being, in-person prayer meetings and grow groups are suspended until further notice. However, these are still happening on Zoom - please email office@enfieldtown.church for more information, or for the zoom links to join.
Children and Youth Work at ETCC
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, many of our 'normal' activities have taken a different look - with all our children and youth work taking place online, or virtually, over Zoom, or other methods.
We have recently launched the BIG BIBLE ADVENTURE! This is for primary school aged-children, who can join Glen and Steve as they discover BIG truths about Jesus with lots of fun along the way! You can find out more by clicking here.
Rooted is the name of our secondary school-aged youth work. This runs on a Friday evening, and due to COVID-19, is continuing over Zoom; please email glen@enfieldtown.church for more information.
Apart from this, there is a Kids' slot every Sunday morning on our livestream, which can be found on our YouTube Channel, or on Facebook.
Womens Ministry at ETCC
Our Women's Bible study groups continue to meet online (see below) - please do join us if you can. We'd also love to chat to you over the phone or (for as long as we're allowed) to meet up in person for a walk or a coffee, to pray together or to study the Bible. If you would like to do this, please get in contact with us via the church office or by emailing heather@enfieldtown.church or rachel@enfieldtown.church.
Our weekly Together women's Bible Studies continue online on a Thursday morning. This term we're studying the book of Colossians together - seeing that Christ really is all we need. Join us to chat from 10am onwards, or for the study at 10:30am. For further information, and/or the zoom link, please contact rachel@enfieldtown.church.
Please click here for more information.
Prayer and Care
We are keen to keep the praying life of church going. If there are things you would like the church to pray about, then please email office@enfieldtown.church. We will endeavour to keep sending out a weekly prayer sheet called Grapevine so we can stay up to date in our prayers for one another and our mission partners.
At this difficult time we are aware that many will need spiritual comfort and support as well as practical help. Please make contact with your small group leader, with one of the elders, or make contact with the church office if you need some help. You could also email the welfare team directly welfare@enfieldtown.church. Please let us know if you are unwell or self-isolating so that we can support you as best we can.
We would also encourage you to care for one another. If you are able to offer some more practical help please do let us know.
