Tuesday Evenings

The Hub is our main mid-week meeting for people of all ages and stages of Christian discipleship.  It's a great opportunity to meet together to learn together from God's word, share together and pray together.
During term-time, the main Hub meeting follows a fortnightly cycle: alternating between The Hub Prayer Meeting and the Hub Table Talk.  All are welcome to join us for a meal at 7pm (please contact us or visit the Welcome Desk on a Sunday to book) or coffee from 7:45pm.  Table Talk/the Prayer meeting starts at 8pm.
At the Hub Prayer meeting we start by singing together.  We then usually read and hear a short talk on a chapter from our church daily Bible Reading plan.  We then pray together in light of what we've learnt and then for global, national and church family needs.

At the Hub Table Talk everyone sits at round tables each with a leader and assistant leader. Most tables have a mix of men and women of different ages. There are also tables for teenagers, a group for primary-school-aged children and a women-only table. We start with a time of singing, usually followed by an overview of the Bible passage or topic to be studied (led from the front).  We then have time for discussion and prayer around our tables. We close with any church family news and another song.  The Hub Table Talk restarts on 10th January. This term we’ll be doing the Life Explored Course together.  Life Explored is an informal and relaxed seven-week course.  Whoever you are, whatever you’re thinking, it will be an opportunity for you to discover the greatest gift in the universe.  You don’t need to know anything about the Bible.  You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen. Booklets will be available on the night (suggested contribution £1.50).

Also at the Hub...
